Clarinda Simpson was appointed as SENTECH’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 May 2025. She is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience in managing and driving business finances within the public sector. 

She spent ten years at the Auditor-General of South Africa, building strong expertise in public finance, audit, and governance. Following this, she held CFO roles across several state-owned entities, where she led strategic financial planning and oversaw key operational portfolios. 

Ms. Simpson has a proven track record of contributing at governance and Board levels through her active participation in multiple oversight committees. Her professional experience spans Finance, Project Finance, Investments, Revenue, Procurement, Information Technology, and Risk Management. 

Her appointment strengthens SENTECH’s leadership team as the organisation continues its journey of digital transformation, financial sustainability, and stakeholder value creation.
