Qualifications: MBA; PGDip in Management Practice & Business Administration; BTech in Business Administration; NDip in Electrical Engineering.

Flenk Mnisi commenced his journey with Sentech in 2006, assuming the role of Technical Manager before advancing to the position of Head of Department for Transmission Networks, a role he held from 2010 to 2019. In 2019, he transitioned to the role of Head of Media & Broadcast. His journey within Sentech continued as he served as the Chief Technology & Information Officer before assuming the role of Executive overseeing the Satellite Business. Recently, in October 2023, Flenk was appointed as the Interim Chief Operations Officer.

Prior to joining Sentech, Flenk gained valuable experience in various technical roles. He served as the BSS Support Manager at Cell C, a RAN Systems Engineer at Siemens, an Engineering Technician at Transtel, and an Engineering Assistant at Ericsson. Currently, Flenk is leading Sentech’s Satellite Communications Launch Project, actively engaging stakeholders, including the International Telecommunications Union, on satellite spectrum issues and partnerships that cover the entire satellite business value chain.
