Kopano Thage brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Acting Executive: Media Business at Sentech. In 2014, Kopano assumed the Head of Department: Customer Services role and later transitioned to acting Chief Marketing and Sales Officer in 2019.

In his current capacity, Kopano is responsible for driving both the operational and commercial aspects of Sentech’s traditional business of broadcasting signal distribution. With over 18 years of experience in ICT, spanning Telecommunication and Media & Entertainment sectors, Kopano has a proven track record. His diverse background includes stimulating the growth of Data Technologies at Vodacom and spearheading the successful launch of Virgin Mobile South Africa as the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). Before joining Sentech, Kopano managed growth markets for Nokia, overseeing business development in the Sub-Saharan region. His extensive experience and strategic vision contribute significantly to Sentech’s mission of providing reliable digital infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
