Marlon Finnis brings over two decades of experience and expertise to his role as Acting Executive: Managed Infrastructure Business at Sentech. Joining the company in March 1996 as a Technician, he advanced to become the Operations Centre Manager in East London from 2004 to 2012, followed by his appointment as Head of the Western Region from 2012 to 2018. Subsequently, he was appointed Head of the Western Region from 2012 to 2018, where his strategic vision and leadership contributed to the region’s success.

Marlon’s professional qualifications include a Master’s in Business Leadership (MBL) and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (BTech). He is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). He is a proud member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IODSA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and governance.

A key figure in Sentech’s milestones, Marlon played a crucial role in managing the Digital Migration Project, leading to the successful phase 1 of Analogue Switch Off. His leadership, technical expertise, and dedication continue to drive Sentech’s mission of providing reliable digital infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
