SENTECH eTender Portal FAQ

 

  1. How do I sign-up?

    You can signup on our eTender Portal by clicking on Sign Up button on our webpage. Enter your details and you will receive an OTP via email. The OTP number is required for verification in order to get your bidder account created. Click link for signup video

  2. I did not receive the OTP and cannot sign-up?

    Please check your internet connection and wait for 10 min. If OTP is still not received, please try again to request OTP.

  3. How do I login?

    After you have signed-up, you can login to the portal using your username (email address) and password.

  4. I forgot my password?

    • You will have to reset your password. To reset your password, enter the email address which you used to register on the portal and select Next.
    • An OTP will be sent to your registered email address. Enter the OTP received and the new password and select Next.
    • Login to the portal once their password has been reset.
  5. Can I change my details on my profile?

    Yes, all bidder details can be changed or updated except for the email address used that was used to signup. Should you need to change your email address for any reason, you will have to create a new account.

  6. I do not see any tenders on the eTender Portal?

    If you do not see any tender on the landing page, it means there are no tenders advertised

  7. I cannot download a tender document – Access is denied?

  8. I cannot submit the document online - Access is denied?

  11. I erroneously deleted a tender I was invited to respond to?

    Please contact our Bid Office on 067 427 0292 or send an email to tendera@sentech.co.za to request a new invitation

  12. Will I get a status update on a tender I submitted?

    Yes, every bidder will be notified of the status of each tender via email until the tender is awarded. The statuses will include :

    • Closed: The advertised tender closing date and time have passed
    • Under Evaluation: The tender is undergoing an evaluation process
    • Awarded: The tender evaluation has been completed and service provider has been appointed
