Jacques van den Berg is the Chief Audit Executive at Sentech, appointed in 2024. A qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), he also holds global certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) provider. He brings over 15 years of experience in audit, risk, and governance, having previously served as Acting Chief Audit Executive at the Free State Legislature.

Jacques van den Berg holds a B.Acc (Cum Laude) and two Honours degrees in Accounting, along with certifications in internal auditing and risk management. He completed his articles at PwC and is a proud alumnus of UNISA and the University of the Free State.

In addition to his corporate credentials, he is also a qualified Interior Designer and Certified Energy Healer, reflecting a unique blend of analytical and creative strengths.
