Mbasa Metuse, a founding member and Executive Chairman of Itsamaya Holdings, serves on various boards, including Mayibuye Transport Corporation (EC Department of Transport) and FASSET. He has also contributed to boards such as the National Heritage Council, USAASA (Universal Services and Access Agency of South Africa), King Hintsa TVET College, and ASPIRE (Economic Agency Amatole District Municipality).

Recognised for his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen, Mbasa was appointed to the board of Sentech on April 20, 2020. His continued tenure, renewed and reappointed on December 1, 2021, December 1, 2022, and April 1, 2023, underscores his invaluable contributions to the organisation’s governance and strategic direction. As Chairperson of the Human Resources, Nominations, and Remuneration Committee, Mbasa plays a crucial role in shaping Sentech’s workforce strategy and ensuring alignment with its overarching goals and values.
