As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Smart Digital Solutions since 2017, Veronica has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision. Prior to this, she held key leadership positions at renowned organisations such as Vodacom, Sun International, and Nedbank. Her roles ranged from Executive Head of Customer Experience and Commercial Operations International to Group Manager of IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.

Veronica’s board experience is equally impressive, having served as a non-executive director for various organisations, including .ZA domain, FTTx Council Africa, and Celcom Group South Africa. She also holds directorships at Vulatel and Entsika Consulting Services. Veronica’s commitment to education and technology is evident through her involvement as a member of the ICT Committee at St Stithians College and her appointment as Chairperson of Innovative Development for BRICS WBA South Africa.

Recognised for her leadership and strategic acumen, Veronica was appointed as a non-executive director of Sentech on December 1, 2021, with subsequent reappointments on December 1, 2022, and April 1, 2023. Her contributions continue to shape Sentech’s investment strategies and governance practices, driving the company towards greater success in the digital landscape.
