Dr Lebogang Mphahlele-Ntsasa was appointed to the SENTECH Board as a Non-Executive Director on 10 December 2025.

She is an accomplished executive with a 25-year career spanning the energy, petrochemical, financial, and public sectors, including 15 years in senior and executive leadership roles. With deep expertise in organisational performance management, corporate governance, ICT governance, risk management, and HR strategy, she has led complex institutions through transformation, growth, and robust governance enhancement.

Dr Mphahlele-Ntsasa serves as Chief Executive Officer of Amperion Energy (Pty) Ltd, where she is driving expansion in renewable energy solutions, utility-scale project development, and industry-wide collaboration. Prior to this, she held senior executive positions including Chief Operations Officer at the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator, and Chief Director: Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, where she served on the Executive Committee for nine years.

With additional experience across Nedbank, PBMR, Sasol and advisory committees, she is recognised for her contribution to strategic planning, performance reporting, combined assurance, governance frameworks, and public-sector modernisation. Her governance experience extends to audit committees, advisory boards, and leadership roles in energy transition, decarbonisation, climate governance, and social and ethics oversight.
