Patrick Wadula, CPRP, was appointed to the Sentech Board as a Non-Executive Director on 01 July 2025.

Patrick is a seasoned Media, Public Relations, and Communications professional with extensive experience spanning the media, financial services, and mining sectors. He has held senior roles in leading organisations including Absa, BHP Billiton, and South32, where he specialised in Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Investor Relations, Crisis Communications, and Change Management.

As the Founder and CEO of Wadula Investment Group, Patrick provides strategic advisory services in media, communications, and stakeholder engagement. His earlier career in journalism — with notable contributions at The Star, Business Day, and Mafube Publishing — has shaped his deep understanding of the South African media landscape.

Patrick holds several executive education certifications, including in Personal Leadership and Coaching for High-Performance Teams from GIBS Business School, as well as credentials in Financial Journalism, Business Administration, and Stock Markets. His professional experience reflects a strong commitment to transparent communication and corporate reputation management.
