Qualifications: MBA, BTech Electrical Engineering, NDip Electrical Engineering 

Tebogo Leshope was appointed the role of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director on March 1, 2018, with his term initially set until February 28, 2023, and later extended until February 28, 2026. Before this, he served as Executive Operations in 2017. Tebogo joined Sentech in 1998 as a Network Operations and Maintenance Technician, responsible for the operation and maintenance of radio and television broadcast platforms. He subsequently transitioned to the role of Broadcast System Implementation Specialist, overseeing network solution design. In 2015, he served as Project Manager, responsible for managing Broadcast Network deployment projects, including the deployment of the 60% DVB-T2 DTT network coverage in South Africa. In 2011, he held the position of Head of Network Engineering, overseeing Broadcast and Broadband Transmission solutions engineering.

His notable achievements include his appointment by the Minister as the project manager for the Digital Migration Project, culminating in the successful first phase of Analogue Switch Off.

As the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Tebogo continues to steer the organisation towards excellence, leveraging his strategic insights and commitment to technological advancement for the benefit of all stakeholders.
