SENTECH proudly celebrates the recognition of its Head of Research and Innovation, Dumisa Ngwenya, who was awarded the prestigious SAIEE Engineer of the Year Award at the 115th Annual South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) Awards. The event, held at The Focus Rooms, Johannesburg, brought together leading engineering practitioners to honour individuals making significant contributions to South Africa’s electrical, electronic, telecommunications, and computer engineering sectors.
Ngwenya, a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of ICT expertise, was recognised for his exceptional contributions to electrical science and its applications. His extensive leadership in IT, operational technology, and digital transformation has positioned him as a thought leader in advancing innovation and research within the sector.
