Radio broadcasts, whether for commercial radio stations or in-store radio, use only a fraction of the capabilities of the Vivid distribution platform. By layering a data channel on top of the audio broadcast, InStoreAd makes it possible to stream static images alongside the radio feed without interfering with or detracting from the audio channel. This adds dynamic visuals without the expense or complexity of full-motion video.

Images are directly loaded onto a server using a standard internet connection and a simple yet powerful scheduling system makes it easy to organise content. The images are formatted in standard JPEG files and converted to MPEG format suitable for broadcast transmission.

Packages

InStoreAd is available in the following packages: 40Kbps, 70Kbps and 100Kbps.

The bandwidth options offer different looping time per slide from 14 seconds for the 40Kbps, 8 seconds for the 70Kbps and 5.6 seconds for the 100Kbps option.
